Hero Xtreme 125R: Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xtreme 125R thus entering the competitive premium 125cc motorcycle market. This is Hero’s first styled bike in the commuter category of 125cc beating competitors like Glamour and Super Splendor in the mass segment. The Hero Xtreme 125R gives the buyer the much needed perfect blend of performance, features and looks when compared to other slowly emerging models such as the TVS Raider and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125.
Design and Features
Hero Xtreme 125R features an aggressive and stylish look which will help it stand out on the roads. A muscular tank, split seat and twin grab rails in the rear lends the bike a very sporty feel. The bike is loaded with modern touches, such as the LED DRLs-colored lens in the front cowl, LED indicators, and projector headlamp, segment-first on the Bullet. The Xtreme 125R is available in three colors: The cars colors are called Cobalt Blue, Firestorm Red, and Stallion Black. It comes in two variants With IBS and ABS, every drive will be secure and fashionable.
Performance and Mileage
This 125 cc single-cylinder air cooled Bajaj Xtreme 125R gives power of 11.4 bhp and 10.5 NM of torque. The engine is mated with 5-speed gear box and the acceleration is very good. Also, according to Hero, the bike is capable of accelerating to 60km/h from a standstill in 5.9 seconds which means that it’s a quick machine. Further, the i3S idle start-stop system enables great mileage of 66 km/liter to offer a viable and daily mean of transport.
Pricing and Color Option
We find that the Hero Xtreme 125R is fairly priced much to the standard of the general market prices. The new Xtreme 125R IBS is priced at ₹95,000 and the ABS is priced at ₹99,500 (ex-showroom). The company has launched it in three different color options which include Cobalt Blue, Firestrome Red and Stallion Black color.
